The Goat Justice League was founded in 2007 when I lobbied the Seattle City Council to allow urban mini-dairy goats. At the time, I had two young doelings, Snowflake and Brownie. Both have since passed away, but they paved the way for others (goats and people alike) to lead fulfilling lives in urban and suburban environments. Snowflake and Brownie helped remind everyone they met that milk doesn’t just appear on our grocery store shelves. Milk comes from living creatures, who deserve a good life.
